Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on the 13th of February, 1979) is a famous American actress fashion designer and model. After beginning her career as a model, she moved into acting, after appearing in guest roles on 1990's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her first film appearance was on the drama Nowhere. With her performances on American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated receive an award called a BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned her greater attention as she stepped into more prominent roles. The next time she appeared was in Loser (2000) in which she starred alongside American Pie actor Jason Biggs. She was later the lead role on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2002). The film also featured her in the 2002 independent drama Spun as well as the 2004 action feature Trauma. Other appearances on HBO include the series Six Feet Under.
